Our marine absorbents are available to help you clean up or contain oil spills on water. Absorbent and containment booms will soak up oil or create a barrier in holding ponds to retain waste and debris. Marine absorbent sweeps and pillows will help skimming operations by effectively removing surface oil from the water. Oil nets and drag nets will help you absorb oil or they can be deployed along a shoreline. Marine absorbent products are made for high absorbency & rapid deployment in demanding emergency situations.

Special Use Sorbents

Once a spill is contained, it's time for sorbents such as PomPoms, Net Bags, Sweeps and Particulates. These products are used on the surface to absorb spills and surface sheen. They will absorb oil, but will not get weighed down with water and remain in place longer for maximum absorption.Booms can be linked together to contain any size spill on water. Clip together with metal hooks.

Oil Spill Booms

  • Oil-Only Absorbent Boom confines and absorbs oil and fuel spills on land or water in nearly all conditions.
  • Tough outer mesh is UV-resistant for long-term outdoor use without degradation.
  • The boom floats on the surface for easy retrieval, even when saturated. Absorbs and retains oils and oil-based liquids, including lubricants and fuels, without taking in water.
  • Strong, zinc-plated carbon steel clamps and rings allow you to link booms together for greater length
  • The bright white color makes boom easier to see in outdoor environments and can be incinerated after use to reduce waste or for fuels blending.
